It's a late 70ies Japanese made "Antoria" Guild copy. Antoria is a UK brand and they were made by Guyatone and later FujiGen and were imported by James T. Coppock (Leeds) Ltd and Charles Summerfield Ltd..
The electric models later came from Korea and China. The brand name is still alive today (after several ownership changes).
As all the other Japanese manufacturers at that time they copied all kind of US acoustic and electric brands, here two "Les Pauls" and a Strat for the UK market:

The white one at Island Records is basically the same like an Ibanez, made in the same factory at FujiGen.

One of my favorite artists and a huge guild fan as well.......The Late great John Denver. Folks please don’t ever forget him. I’m
56 now and John made my childhood so much better.

The cover of Bryter Layter, of course.

Well, that might be more accurately described as an artist "posing" with a Guild as opposed to "playing" one. It is a great photo though. Mr. Drake and his supposed Guild connection have been discussed at length here. If you do a search on Nick Drake you may find it amusing!

John Darnielle of the Mountain Goats playing his M-20 in a streamed show a couple months ago, with a pickup taped to the top of the guitar 😧

(He's used the guitar in a couple of videos since then; the pickup has been removed and it seems to be just fine.)

Not the greatest audio and video from a fan phone cam, but some cool footage of a couple of The Shins wielding Guilds.

Singer James Mercer has his signature Emerald Green Starfire IV, although it's tough to see in the lighting. Dave Hernandez is playing his S-100.

I've really enjoy musician's autobiographies and presently I'm reading Kathy Valentine's "All I Ever Wanted". Kathy is the bassist for the Go-Go's and she has quite the story to tell! In looking around at other media she's done for her book, I came across a TV interview with KTLA TV in LA. Here is a screen capture with a Guild acoustic in her living room.

Some kid from Missouri. They say he's pretty damn good.
Pat Metheny used to have a few Guilds, here on a 1979 album and in a Guild add as well:

He played that D-40C live, so not just for the Guild add, here in 1980 in Germany (interesting construction of the stand where the D-40C is fixed on).
