Can't say that I have ever heard of them, but did a little digging. The Four Pennies were probably the most commercially successful UK vocal/instrumental group that failed to chart in the United States, during the so-called British Invasion. Their British No.1 single "Juliet" was the only 1964 Number one by a UK group not to chart in America. Like the Burns bass

What's with that headstock Guild logo? Seems a little bold.
To me as well!! When I first saw it, I thought "This has to go in the "Fake Guilds" thread!! Did they just try to make it more easily spotted and read or something?

Glen Burtnik.
Is it a lefty (JF-30?) with double pickguards or a righty model converted to lefty with a second pickguard added?

Before he was an actor, Creed Bratton was a member of The Grass Roots.

He still plays.

mgod is playing bass. Circa 1:59 is a shot of the "Lesh Guild" in action. That bass is documented several places but the best story was on Rick Suchow's site which is now in reconstruction.. That video has been posted before and I think there were comments about the Guilds being used.
