I just couldn't stop going back and checking out the M25E - looking at as many images , reviews and clips I could find.
There are none to be found around here but having played a few M20s and M120s I know what I'm expecting.
I've done a bit of clearing out lately and seems Guild is my go to for filling the voids - so to speak.
Here are a few pics of my M25E on the way to me

Really dig the vintage style Ivory tuners on this model with the sunburst.
I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea but it sure speaks to me.
I'll give a review after I play it for a spell.

The gloss top and headstock was a nice touch to the satin lacquer sides and back.

Oxnard, California ;)

It's certainly a handsome guitar, congrats! Looking forward to your review. I'm always on the lookout for small guitars with a "big" sound.

Is that what they refer to as a "California" burst?

Whatever it is called, I like it . . . congrats!

Yeah, that one made me stop dead in my tracks and go, "Wait!! How much money is in my checking account again?" It's just beautiful and that burst is flawless!! Can't wait to hear your impressions. It clearly falls into my "no more dreads" category, so..... I do wish they'd do a spruce top and figure a way to incorporate the CA burst...... (y)

I kept going back between the M25 and the M40. The California Burst is just so nice with
the gloss finish top and headstock on the M25 it tipped the scale that way.
If I start really digging these smaller size Guilds - I may have to sell something else
just to get the natural spruce top M40E - but that's another story.
Stay tuned for a review later this week.

This is a real nice touch that many guitar companies should take notice of.
I humidify my acoustics during our winter months here due to forced air heat.
Cross my fingers
and have never had a guitar crack under my ownership.
...Of course the case humidifier is only good if it is being used correctly and carefully.
Thanks Guild for putting it in plain sight in the case to remind all of us to take care of the instrument.
Depending on your environment you may not need it as much as others but it is sure nice to have regardless.

I think this Cali burst concept is one of the sexiest things going in their lineup. The combination all hog with that burst and understated look is just perfect. Forget the bling. Just let the wood take center stage and do the talking, or rather signing,
