Is that still going? I buttoned that one ages ago. It kinda went off the rails and then I realized that I don't have to witness it at all. A VERY good thing!!no button required to ignore that one

Never mind. Unfortunately, the "ignore forum" button does far more than I'd hoped. It basically removes a user's visibility into that forum completely. It doesn't even show up on the forums page anymore! Yeah, so that's not what I was hoping for. I think some people want to squelch new posts in say online offerings but still be able to go into that forum and look around at their leisure. Too bad there's not a "squelch" button.Does this feature still work, @GAD? It looks like it's still there as an option on the given forum's page. If so, will this prevent posts in a forum from showing up in "What's New" and "Unread posts?" That's a very easy solution to the issue we've been talking about if it's under each user's control.
As a moderator, I might not want to do that, but perhaps it's a better solution than what you/I've discussed for muting online offerings (for everyone, as all or nothing, that is)...
We'd need a CB radio for that.Too bad there's not a "squelch" button.
10-4 good buddy! We'd need a CB radio for that.
