X160 Rockabilly appreciation

Played my X160 Rockabilly (Westerly) for a bit tonight. The DeArmond pickups (I can never keep straight if they're 2000 or 2K - could it be more confusing?) sound great - the neck pickup is full and woody while the bridge pickup is twangy but not too thin. The knobs and bridge were changed on mine before I got it. I put a "treble-bleed" resistor/capacitor on the volume pot which works really well to retain the highs when it is less than all the way up. It even smells good!

I like the Tennessee finish on our Guilds . On a stage with good lighting they look a million bucks !
I contol the volume at the amp-end , so I've not done any treble-bleed fixes . Did put some PIO
caps in the X500 , but I couldn't hear the difference because ( again ) I use the amp's contols
and you really need to roll the treble right-off to hear the caps true potential .
