What do you think they're worth?

Every ad has OMG so RARE!! in it but let's be real, they're not exactly in style these days.

Someone is offering me one and yeah, it might even be more rare than "normal", but I have a hard time paying what people are asking for these things.

I have seen them sell as high as $2600 in Mint condition and as low as $1200 in bad cosmetic but still playable condition. They are a cool looking guitar and quite rare but I think the reason people ask so much for them is that Joe Perry was playing one in the Aerosmith/Run DMC "Walk This Way" video from the 80's. That gives them some visibility of a guitar played by a well known guitarists from one of the most popular bands of all time. Not my cup of tea but I wouldn't kick one out of bed to go get Ice cream at 3:00 in the morning, LOL!

They've sold for way higher than that!

The problem is that they were fetching crazy prices for a while and now everyone expects to get a crazy price for them.

Waiting for Grot to tell us about the one he got for $199.

(If it makes you feel any better, the guts are missing from the string clamp behind the nut!)

Also played by Steve Plunkett of Autograph!

If I were a blade runner man, the multicolored airbrush version that Grot owns would be the only way to go. Or hot pink.

Congrats! Does it come with pyro effects each time you open the case?

So who wants to bet that the first line of GAD's reveiw of the Blade Runner is: "Holy crap is this thing light! Blah, blah, blah. Did I mention how light this thing is? Yada, yada, yada. This is the lightest guitar I've ever picked up!"

I would have bet he would have gone with: "Holy crap is this thing pink Blah, blah, blah. Did I mention how pink this thing is? Yada, yada, yada. This is the pinkest guitar I've ever picked up!"

Yes. Yes it does.

I'll bet it also starts playing Eddie Van Halen's "Eruption" as the pyro effects go off too huh? LOL! Congrats on a Rare and Wonderful Guild my Friend, My first electric guitar is still in the closet and it is a Hot Pink Peavey Tracer II. It still rocks out to this day. My old man asked me when I was picking it out for Christmas at 12 years old, "Are you sure? Why in the Sam H3ll do you want a Hot Pink Guitar?" I replied, "Cause the Chicks Dig it!". He said that was good enough for him.

That's an awesome story. I was in my late teens/early 20s in the eighties. Back around 1985 I bought a killer Shogun road racing bicycle that I put some long miles on. I think you know where this is headed...

That killer carpet is from my 1985 apartment. I miss shag. The bike is still in my garage. BTW the color is washed out in this pic. It's more like the Bladerunner's kind of pink.
