I was reading Harmony Central reviews on the X-700 and all 3 reviews were different. One said his was laminate maple back and sides and another said solid. One had 17&3/4" wide and another 17" wide. One said 24&3/4" scale and another 25". Also nut width varied. Any one know the exact specs. These were 97,98, and 99 models. Thanks.

I believe this to be accurate:
17" lower bout, solid carved Sitka Spruce top, maple sides and back, 1 5/8 nut. 24 3/4 scale.
I'll double check though on the nut & scale.

My 99 catalog has it listed:

Scale = 24 3/4
Nut = 1 11/16"
Body = Maple
Top = Solid Spruce
Neck = Maple
