Local shop took an X 500 in as trade last week. Sunburst, looks new hanging on the wall, 98% immaculate,

PU's changed, to Seymour Duncans ?, & bridge screwed in place.

Ser # AK500159.

Asking price $2499, anybody interested I'll get pics.

Sounds like a late 1990s Westerly, Jeff. I'm pretty sure the Corona's have "CK" serial numbers rather than the "AK" numbers.

??

Yep, rosewood bridge with a small screw on either side, holes drilled thru the bridge into the guitar, supposedly the screws go thru the top into the braces.

Screw heads are small, about the same diameter as the screws holding the PU's in place. Neat enough job, I guess. My opinion is it doesn't do much for the value of an otherwise exceptionally clean & pretty guitar.

Word I got, the previous owner was a hard rock player & played so agressively he kept dislocating the bridge. Bridge ain't likely to move around much now!!!

I played the Git for 10 - 15 minutes & drove home feeling good about a certain SF III that lives at my house now. 8)
