Quite a few years ago a friend gave me some boots of some Winwood shows that featured Lilly both as a backup singer and as lead vocalist. Initially, I thought, "Oh no. This is a bit of embarrassing nepotism." She seemed shy, hesitant, and uncertain, and her voice wasn't very strong. She must have been quite young.
Over the years, I have checked on her development now and then. She is a very different person now. Dad casts a very big shadow, but she is finding her own way out from the shade.
