I may buy one of those cheap old eBay fiddles -- and find an old Guild headstock and put that together... boy, would that get people to talking at fiddle camp!

Nice fiddle there Grammy, you may need to market those.

Seriously Carol, last year, California's wife sang several songs. If we are lucky this year, Mrs. Graham and Mrs. West will play one as they have both been playing a bit. Mrs. Jim W. played a song or 2 for us. And the wives hit it off beautifully. All the guys are pretty much attached to someone who will be there, so not much chance of you getting into trouble. I think you'd enjoy it and we'd enjoy meeting you. Just a thought.

Hey, you said it yourself, you're one of the guys. California's wife got there way ahead of California last year, and din't know any of us from Adam. We went to Fort Worth as a group, and you'd have to ask her, but even though she didn't know any of us, I'll bet she'd tell you she had a good time.

More worrying still is that you are in some kinda stealth mode - you're not showing as a registered user online

I am the wind.

My favorite M.A.S.H. character......Col. Flagg. I loved it when he hid in the trash can and popped up on Charles, telling him if he didn't cooperate and get the goods on Frank, well, he knew all about Charles' cozy little family in Boston, including his sister Honorreha!
