I'm so excited. Probably the hardest one to get, and now I only have the Ram's head model to go!

I hate myself for spending so much, but given the fact that this is the only one I've seen for the past year and they want $799 for it, I'll get over it:

Yikes and congrats! Pricey, but it was for the good of the collection and doesn't take up much space (though the space it takes in review pile is probably the same as the others).

Looks like it's in excellent condition, you pay for condition too so...

I was going to write a review for each of them, but I think it will be more a “GAD’s Guide to Foxey Ladies” thing. 🤪

I like the title! Could attract some non guitaraholics to the blog!

Condition is virtually NOS, it's a solid value. Look for it to double in price in the near future.

The knobs are very Silvertone Twin Twelve?

Seller decided that shipping would be $8 more than they listed in the ad (which was $20), then wouldn't ship until I sent them their $8. I really want the pedal so sent the money, but damn that's so not cool. I thought about having a conversation with Reverb but then the seller seems old (original owner, bought new in 1968) so they may just be confused about how Reverb works. They sent me their address so I could mail them a check for $8. I asked if they had Paypal and got it worked out that way.

It does say in the ad that U.S. buyer to pay any difference in cost to location, but Reverb doesn't really work that way.

Oh, the adventures of online buying and selling.

$8.00, a mere bag of shells.

$28 to ship the pedal is ridiculous, even with insurance.

I routinely give up to $50 shipping on huge items, over a grand. I'm not going to sweat it, just generate the label and forget about it. Giving feels good.

And it's never right to withhold a $800 item over $8 shipping, silly and wrong.

I bought a Hydrofloss (amazing device) from a newbie eBayer, $15 shipping. Paid. The seller got a hold of me saying she wanted to cancel the whole transaction over a $5 difference in shipping and I had to get instructional with her, walked her through the whole thing but the most important lesson - I learned way back when - do NOT ever let a little bit of extra shipping get in the way of a transaction, go though with it and learn something, like how to charge the right amount.

These days, I have really high shipping prices, $20 for most any item on eBay, and seldom, very seldom do I have anyone questioning it.

What it allows me to do us ship USPS Priority - always, even guitars - and I always pay for full bore insurance and sig confirmation unless buyer opts out in writing.

This also allows me to feel good about every sale, and shipping usually comes in at about $3 less than charged, which helps pay eBay's ridiculous and probably illegal fees to the seller on shipping and helps to pay for tape, which I use lot of, and I buy expensive USA tape, heavy, approved by all carriers.

Bonus points for one of these, but chances are slim:

I've never seen the last version, was this also a Guild version? EDIT: Nevermind, found my answer, it is the very rare Mike Matthews version made by Aul Instruments after Mosrite went bankrupt in 1967.
