Does anyone know (or is it obvious to an electronic whiz) what the wiring is for the NS "Dynasonic" reissue pickups? As in, which is lead and which is ground?

Hello

In your picture the black wire is connected to ground - so black it is then. White is "hot".
But because the coil ends in corners are each non-grounded - I would wire it with microphone cable - connect the shield to ground and the two wires each in coil end. This way there would be more possibilities for different pup-combinations. Like phase-reverse - which actually is polarity-reverse. It would also allow two pup series-connection if desired - and leaving the pup shells grounded all the time no matter how you switch.

Nuuska,

Hello up there in Finland! Thanks for your reply. I should probably be more specific; what I'm actually wanting to do is replace the NS Dynasonic with a TV Jones T-Armond. Want to be sure I'm connecting the right pickup wire to the correct wire on the harness.
