They sold more D25's than any other model. Why aren't they offering one now?

Does Guild offer any arch back guitars still? I don’t see any other manufacturers either

I’m kind of diggin the arch backs, my 2002 JF30 and the 81 chesterfield D25. I purchased a 2003 JF30 -12 string with a mahogany 3 piece neck to match my JF30 mahogany neck (not three piece neck) the other day. Most I saw had maple necks. It was only played a couple of times when it was new. Pics look to be mint. We will see.

I played my newly fixed F30CE at a Birthday party yesterday, totally unplugged, actually went through a callous on my ringfinger, unusual.

I put these strings on it, play any leads, pedal steel bends, plus thumping bass, decent overall balance, quite surprising.

I don't think I've ever seen so much saddle on a Guild! (Used, anyway...)

A dream guitar for me would be one of the few all-Hog D-25 arched-backs out there. My '68 mahogany flat-back is one of the nicest sounding (and playing) guitars I've ever owned. I can only imagine what the arched-back version would sound like...

FWIW, if anyone is interested in the all-mahogany flat-back version, there's a beauteous lookin' thing currently for sale on Reverb:

Are you sure there is such a thing, Sats?

I think they rely on their MIC arched back hog/spruce top dreads to cover this hole.

During the transition from flat- to arched-back D-25s, there were all mahogany arched back D-25s. Most of the ones I have seen (for sale) have been from 1973, tho' I think a few have been from early 1974. By the middle of '74, the spruce-topped D-25s were being made (my spruce-topped arched-back D-25 had a top date of Aug 1974).

Added: Unless you were referring to the "all-pork" model D-25? rarely seen, and only when it flies...
