Who Says Regional Differences are Disappearing?

I'm surprised "Put it up" wasn't on the expressions list. Mrs. Jaguar is a Midwesterner and uses that phrase. I was very confused the first couple of times she asked me to put something up.

One of my favorite Southern slangs that I've found myself using many times because it's so convenient is "Ustacould". It's just so much faster than, "You used to be able to do that".

Love to but too many ties here at the moment including a very young granddaughter. Haven't been to the States for about 8 years when I was doing a road trip in Wyoming and Montana amongst other places.

Also not sure about music. I can make a sort of noise with the guitar. Tried recently to post some noise I'd recorded on my phone but failed to manage to post it. Krysh said I had to post it to sound cloud first so tried to download that. Seems I'd had that before but can't remember the password so at that stage I gave up. Probably just as well not to inflict my noise on the other members
