I think the Tune Tech 500, Intelli IMT500, and the Fazone are all the same tuner made by the same shop in China.
Probably just labeled and priced differently.

I always thought that the best solution to our tuning problems are built in tuners in the preamp, like Fishmans.

I tend to lose guitar equipment, wrenches, plectrums, tuners etc...so when I have an accessory into the instrument I don't have to think about where it is. Usually I found these tuners very accurate.

You just have to worry about whether the battery is good, and where the spare is.

So I bought the tune tech/ fazone tuner- however the brand on the tuner was Oasis- the brand that makes the guitar humidifiers.

First impression: picks up the strings well, and gives an accurate readout.
It seems that it has slightly different pitches that read in tune, than the intellitouch though.

When I get the guitar exactly in tune with this tuner, there is a slight difference in how the guitar tuning is tempered. I will have to learn how to compensate.

Ugh- a good ear can be a curse sometimes!
