Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio? "Mrs. Robinson" #1 song 46 years ago today
Sunday Morning on CBS had a brief feature on the song and movie this morning. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/almanac-mrs-robinson/
The pictures of Paul Simon with his Guild never showed the headstock, but the trc was evident. Got me to thinking about how many big artists played Guilds earlier in their career and then moved on to other guitar brands. Seems Richie was the only one who played Guild throughout his career. Any thoughts on why Guild brand loyalty wasn't as strong as performers and other brands? When Al Dronge died did the relationship with artists of the 60's for Guild end too?
