Guess they forgot about the Porta-sans at the White House security upgrade job.

Or maybe it's just a photo-bomb.

Yeah, what are the chances of some random dude just strolling around the White House lawn?

Porta-sans

Obviously the preferred name for a portable toilet is regional. In the greater DC area port-a-potty or port-o-potty (depending upon accent) is more likely to be heard.

I appreciate the humor but that is probably not what is going on. It's probably some kind of inspection (but not a short arm inspection).

"Porta-potty" here in Northeast.

Of course, there are different levels of privacy...

Had the "archaic" usage in mind, actually:

Or he could just be smokin' dope.

Out here in Pacific NW, the most common company purveyors of porta-potties is the Honey Bucket.

The one I find most amusing is "Jimmie's Johns"... I wonder how Jimmie John's sandwiches like that!

I remember something about Johnny Carson canceling the name on one company called Here's Johnny.

I've seen Don's Johns.

I never realized the possibilities until I was at a wedding at a home that did not have the facilities for the number of guests. The hosts rented this trailer thingie - it had running water, electric lights, ventilation fans and two stalls. Lots of gleaming chrome and, except for climbing steps to get in, the experience was on par with a well maintained restroom in an office building. Port-a-potty just seems too crude a term for it although the supplier had those too.
