Just finished the 4 part mini series - 'Unorthodox' - very engaging, based on a true story.

Search YouTube or Facebook video for some great shows from Extended Play Sessions at the Fallout Shelter.

I happened to find a woodbutcher, who is quite good - his YouTube channel makes me want to start wood building projects - even though I do not need any . . .

Here's one example.

Not watching, but am streaming WWOZ's celebration of 50 years of Jazz Fest. Today's the first of 8 days of excerpts from concerts back as far as 1977 (Ella Fitzgerald with Stevie Wonder). Currently listening to Rebirth Brass Band. Among highlights from earlier today - Bonnie Raitt and Kermit Ruffin's tribute to Louis Armstrong.

Seems like a good station to stream even when they're not airing a jazz fest.

WWOZ remains a tremendous radio station despite changes in management and on-air folks over the years. Current favorite shows include Swing Session on Sunday evenings and the R&B shows, R&B Oldies on Tuesday evenings and Rare on The Air on Wednesday evenings. Will often listen to Kitchen Sink, New Orleans Music Show, and Jazz in the Afternoon as well. So much more. Enjoy!

I’m taking 2 courses on Coursera.org

history of Roman architecture from Yale
Modern art from Moma

the Roman history course is excellent
the modern art course is lame

found a couple of my sons old iPods and have been listening to 90s and 2000s stuff...nice memories

saw one movie, funny as hell. Death at a Funeral. The British version...not the USA version. Really funny

Mrs. Cougar made me watch Little Fires Everywhere just now. Kind of a soap. I'd seen the previous one, and this one looked like the last one. We also kind of like Siren, haha. Crazy series. Ben and Maddie got a three-way going with Ren, the mermaid. 🤯 And we just got the next Homeland (thru Netflix). That sure started out good. I'm hoping it keeps going good.....

Veer from "streaming" if permissable? My nephew knew I was an avid hunter fifty years ago and brought me a set of Nash Buckingham books (seven). We sat (about twelve apart) and reminisced about hunting and fishing growing up on rural Tennessee farm in the 1950s and 1960s. He set the books on the carport and after he left, I donned my rubber gloves and Clorox wipes.
After cleaning every microscopic fiber of books and books holder, left them be for twenty-four hours and picked up the first of seven (Tattered Coat) last night. If the other six are like this Tattered Coat, gonna be time we'll spent enjoying this set written about hunting and outdoors in the early 1900s.
If this "veer" has no place here, please delete it.
