Starfire 4 special, I believe.

Special because the Bert Weedon model has no center block!

Hello folks,

That would be a Starfire V then, with the Bigsby, Master Volume and the block inlays.
Because of the way the Bert Weedon is built and all the parts are layed out on the guitar I like to refer to the model as the 'DE-400 in a Starfire format'.

Sincerely,

Hans, I look at you and me as a team.

I throw out completely wrong answers and you come along and correct me.

Everybody wins! :D

How long did they make this guitar, BTW. I'm fascinated by the sheer variety of Guild models.

Hey, at least you know which end to blow into.

That's got to count for something!

Hello Default,

The Guild Bert Weedon was only offered in the U.K. but it may have been available in Canada, since that was the same distributor.
The model was not a success and by 1965 it was discontinued.

Sincerely,
