Well....remember it is a member of the squash family, cooks up nicely baked, or in soup. The seeds can be dried in a warm oven, soaked in salt water, let dry...good snack...seeds are good to enhance prostate health, also act as an anti-parasite, and yes....they are there.......the one thing that you can use it for that is really good....skin care...you can grate some and rub it on your face and hands, let the moisture dry, its not sticky...and your skin gets really smooth and silky, must be all that vitamin A....or you can spend a lot of money on Vitamin A creams.... you can juice it too...put some juice in small baggies, and then you have it all year round.....or you can smash them on the road or side walk in celebration of having so much excess that you can afford to throw your food away... :? which kind of psssis me off....but thats just an old geezer expressing his thoughts... Steffan
Oh yeah, one year, I sliced them thin and deep fried and salted them.......mmmmmm.......pumpkin chips.....

Those are good suggestions!

You can also puree or chop them up and feed it to your dogs. It's low in sugar and high in fiber and vitamins. It'll help them with digestion and BMs.

One year we were carving pumpkins with the kids when we heard this smacking sound, turned around and saw the cat chowing down on the pile of pulp we scraped out of the pumpkins. Cheap cat food too, Steffan! :D

Or, you can drop them from the 6th floor of a building and feed the neighborhood crows.

Whatever you do, just don't leave 'em alone with beer in the fridge. There's always a few bad apples that spoil the fun for every pumpkin.
