Seller says "easy repair". I sent the pics (He sent me high-res) to a local well respected luthier, and he replied that it would "probably cost a lot" to repair. He also seemed to think that the frets would need to come out for a proper repair, though on the upside he also thought he had some old Guild binding in stock.

Beautiful guitar. Seems like a lot of coin for one needing repair though.

"Probably cost a lot" is a bit vague, but the price on the guitar seems high to me, even for one in mint condition. I'd keep looking, but that's just me. I'm hesitant to buy a guitar I haven't played anyway, and it seems like binding issues on both sides of the neck could be the result of a larger problem.

Personally I think that price would be expensive if it didn't have the missing binding.
But if this is exactly what you've been looking for and you can afford it, maybe it is worth it :wink:
