Of Guild's current cases, it looks like the Concert size is too small and the Dreadnought case would be a bit loose for a 1970 F-112. Does anyone know of a case that makes a really good fit?

I have no idea, as I am new to the world of Guilds and own a guitar made in 2003. However, my suggestion would be to take your guitar to a store and try out cases until you find something that fits. I know this doesn't answer your question exactly, but I think that you might find it difficult to track down an existing case that was specific to your 52-year old instrument.
In any case, good luck with your quest.

Back in 1970 the case options for the F-112 were the 2515 case which was for the F-30 and F-112 or the better 4515 case, again only for F-30 and F-112.
So a F-30 case is the one you need.

That one might work?

More options that might work, without guarantee:

I'm a big Hiscox fan. If you get a case from them and it's a bit loose, they will send you some bigger spacers to make it fit. Part of the design is padded spacers so there is a gap in the sides around the guitar, so making it a bit more snug is just popping the spacers off and putting the new ones in. These cases are light and strong.

Thank you all for the suggestions! I chanced upon a "new old stock" Guild case, from "the Fender era" according to the seller. It was made by TKL and has a black, simulated reptile hide cover and a dark green plush interior. Its size was listed as OM, with a lower bout of 15.5 inches, and it fits the F-112 perfectly.
