This same thread appears at the Gibson website, and I thought it might be an interesting thread to start here, if in fact it doesn't already exist.
If the idea is new, then I'd like to start it off with a song by a Canadian rock band a music bud introduced me to the other day.
They are Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, and the song I'm listening to, and hoping to learn to play is "I'm still loving you".

Terrific band, and I love Tom's alter ego LeE HARVeY OsMOND, too. He came to NYC to play at The Rockwood Music Hall in the East Village, and I think there were five of us there. He was a real sport about it and put on a great show anyway, and gave us download cards for his then-latest album. I even got a bad photo with him.

We also did this song at LMG3 with @ladytexan.

Like Corb Lund, Tom Wilson is a guy who's huge in Canada but relatively unknown in the states. I never understood that.

Most recent listens (while reading the lates John Sandford Novel)
The Soul of Dick Curless (recent Goodwill find)

B B King Let the Good Times Roll

Also from the same Goodwill trip, but this CD turned out to be blank (had to listen on Spotify), only the second time I've ever found a commercial CD tobe blank, and I've bought a couple thousand over the years, both new and used. The same trip also yielded a wrong LP in a sleeve (I usually check the labels, not this time!

Listening to the Jack White album No Name from July of last year. I've read so much about how good it is, and I'm finally getting to give it a serious listen. So far, it's a real rocker. Digging it! The guitar production is predictably amazing. Tunes are pretty anthemic and riff-driven and reflect notorious 70s influences. It would seem apropos at drag races and beer-guzzling, frisbee-tossing, summer parties with your best buddies. Although I've done none of these activities in years, I now want to after listening to this record.
