Ray, hope it doesn’t take too long to get your power back on!

My efforts to keep the power bill down . I rarely have lights on . It’s pitch black when I get up and make coffee but I do have a rechargeable LED light sitting top on my coffee grinder so I use that to get things going rubber bands to keep it from falling off the grinder when I use it 😂. Then hit the shower in the dark after which I get coffee and morning news on the boob tube . Hey it’s a bachelor pad . 😁

I am playing my Traveler Escape that I keep by my desk. It is silent and I am the only one in the house awake at the current time. I really love this thing. I Found mine in a pawn shop about 15 years ago, and it has served me well. Takes up little space, silent, and always at the ready to pick up and work out parts.

I am so back and forth on my two dreads it’s crazy . It’s an amazing thing we find when can switch between the few or many guitars we have . Another thing is not being overly snobby about high end guitars verses low end or however that is recognized esp when it comes to tone . Another Rabbit hole ?

So though I’m a procrastinator I have a few tunes to record but it’s alway hard for me to get satisfactory takes . That aside most of the tunes originated on the Blueridge but one was completed on D55 . Both guitars oddly are so close it crazy the main tonal difference from my hearing is the blue has bit more high end or sparkle . Both are gosh darn good at what they do tonally . I can’t imagine getting rid of ether one . lol

I could include my custom build by Ben Wilborn but its tonal characteristics are completely different but I place it no higher or less then the Blueridge or D55 they all are top notch in the tone department .

The first open mic I've been able to attend in a few months means it's time to haul out the F50R. The DTAR Multisource is terrific.

Lazy day.
Took out my GAD jf-30 and found all strings were quite sharp and needed tuning down, so after playing it a while, checked my 212ce, J-45 and D-28 and also found them in need of tuning down. Caused by a change in relative humidity?
Who knows.
But by the end of the day, had given the four of them some play.
Oh. And got the garbage ready for pick-up tomorrow.

Lately been going back and forth between my 73’ Guild F30-R and my 2011 Blueridge BR-163 OOO. The BR has more bottom which I like, but the sweet high end of the Guild is great too.image.jpg
