A news article about some locals facing prosecution for poaching sea snails ( :shock: !!) led to me to Google snail recipes, which led me to this place:

What I really like is that they go out and harvest their own...kinda gives the term "spearfishing" a whole new meaning! Waitaminnit, you mean that's what it meant in the first place? :shock:

BTW, for those who might've missed it, things really start rolling on page 3.

Cut off all the outer skin (it's disturbingly like a circumcision actually), get the shell off and get rid of the guts, and by this time the foot will have contracted into what feels like hard plastic. Cut it into very thin strips, the thinnest you can cut, that's key
