Congrats!...a gorgeous 12. Hey, noticed the avatar...I have a t-shirt from that place. The wife and I stop in there a couple times a year.

That guitar looks like the evil twin to my JF30-12. I just played it last night. I haven't played it in over a week and when I picked it up, it was still in tune!!

That's a stunner for sure !! Wow. Congrats. I played some 12's when I was picking up some guitar wall hangers the other day - it's just a lovely sound. One day ....

The Westerly JF30-12 git arrived about an hour ago. Boy oh boy, did I ever hit the jack pot!

OMG.........this thing has the appearance of having never been played, as it's in absolutely mint condition.
No wear on the frets, no marks, no scratches, no dings, just friggin' new!
Apparently, the guy bought the axe, then passed away shortly after, and it sat in it's case inside a closet since.

The strings were terrible, and the high g broke as soon as I attempted tuning.
So...I removed the strings, and cleaned the light film off the entire guitar, and wallah!
She gleems like a shiney new pick up truck!
Tomorrow, I'll string her with new D'addario ESP lights, and soon I'm ordering 12 buffalo bone pins and bone end pin for her.

Included in the purchase was: a new Guild polishing cloth, a cased set of six Guild bridge pins and end pin, Guild tortoise picks, a Seymor-Duncan "woody" pick up (new), a brand new Kyser 12 string capo, and of course the factory Guild hardcase, which is also like brand new! Not to mention the factory Guild booklet, too.

I'm thinking that I'm really going to love this Westerly maple axe! What a beaut!
Guess My years of patience have finally paid off.........and now If I could snag a cherry condition DV-72 or DV-73 reasonably.

Very nice Dave! :D

Great to hear from you whilst at the Lazy B. Jim was sorry he had to pass you off to me on the phone, but a dear old friend of his was leaving after picking us some great songs.

I'm sure though that you'd be more than welcome at their Casa if you find your way out to East Texas, Indian Rock to be precise.
