So that '73 S-100C I bought came with a weird case. I have no idea who made it or what guitar it would have been designed for. And I don't know how old it is - the lining looks sort of '70's style, but I don't think it's that old. It does have some wear and the latches are pretty rusty, but they all work well. Has a lock but no key:
Anyone seen this before?
More pictures here. (Sorry, they aren't great. Only have my cell phone at the moment as I'm in between digital cameras.)
What's weird about it - the bouts aren't as rounded as a lot of cases, and the headstock end of it is kinda square-shaped. Also, the neck rest seems kinda tall, but I could be imagining it. It does seem like the neck of a guitar in it slants up more than it should. Overall, it doesn't appear to be a bad case - fairly sturdy, arched top - but I really don't need it now and I'm thinking about selling it. I'll probably just put it on CL and let someone make an offer.
Here are some details:
Length: 45 1/4
Upper bout: 13 1/4
Lower bout: 16 3/4
Headstock area width: 7 3/4
