OK, lads and lassies - watch this video.

I was home briefly for lunch today and flipped on the tele. I came upon this video by 'Jimmy Wayne' - never heard of him before, but he looks like the love child of Scott Bakula and Don Johnson. Anyway, nice song, pretty actress - but what caught my attention is the guitar. Despite the 'custom' finish and oddity of a pickguard - this thing is a Guild, though the director has done his best NOT to show the headstock.

Jerry - Can you get You Tube to come up at all? If so, the first posting was a lad named Jimmy Wayne and the song was "I Will" - and the search mechanism should bring it up. The second is Orleans on a Dutch television show doing "Dance With Me". The one West sends is Emerson Drive doing "Moments" - you should be able to find them that way. SOrry you can't get the links - but perhaps it a licensing issue if you can't get the clips. Sorry - but all the best. Cheers! dbs

West -- Beautiful song! What is that...D55? Nice sound they have. If they come back - you should catch them. We'll be in Arlington in June (5-7) for the Texas Scottish Games and back again in August (28th) at the Six Strings & Coffee Beans Coffeehaus. It'sll be good to be back in Texas. Believe it was a D55 Dud. Talented young bucks, aren't they?

Is the June Dallas trip an annual deal....Scottish Games? I knew you did a Celtic festival in Arlington, but thought that was late summer. That must be the August trip? What's going on in June? We'll have to check out Six Strings and Coffee Beans. You need to make plans to meet us in Arlington in October!

West - Yeah, the June gig is an annual event - Texas Scottish Festival. It's a BIG one with 4 stages of continuous music, a field for athletics, goods vendors of all kinds, food vendors, demonstrations, competitions, seminars and pageantry. We also used to do the North Texas Irish (Celtic) Festival in March, but after 8 years or so of it we decided not to return. This one is hard work - about 7-9 shows during the weekend, but great sales, great times. (www.texasscottishfestival.com).

When are you going to Arlington in October. I'd love to go, but for the last couple of times it's coincided with an event in Georgia we regularly do. However, as things shift and we've slowed down on travel and performances - it just could happen. Let me know. All the best....dbs

(PS - Doing a benefit at LSU tonight - The Sounds of Healing - with the Sarah Pierce Band, our friends from Austin. Going to be great fun and exceptional music.)

Hey, Graham - Great to hear from you. I would LOVE to make October if I can. Let me know the dates again. BTW - That sunburst GF25 you sold me...which my luthier Holger has named "Beautiful" - wil be featured in some promos I'll post when my daughter can slow down long enough to help me out. Also, I'm using it tonight and for the forseeable future as my prime guitar. What a beauty! Thank you, thank you, thank you. (I KNEW there was a reason it was my dream guitar!) Hi Dudley

It was only the first one that had the blockage and I tracked it on the search - and yes she is pretty but rather knobbly knees :mrgreen: The other two links worked fine anyway :D
