PM idealassets and do a search on his posts while waiting. If I have my story right (and Frono was wrong once, and it did happen again) idealassets bought two Starfires with the expectation that he would sell one. One of those basses was thought to be a 1974 but turned out to be the 90's reissue. Seller misunderstood a dating chart.

Also, I've never played either the reissue or the DeArmond but I have been told by people I trust that the construction quality is very similar - to the point that a DeArmond can be a viable substitute for a reissue.
