assuming that it's in playable shape at all, it's an awful lot of guitar for that price.

Nice score, John. I bought 'Gipper' off ebay for 350.00 and 'Babe' (ebay) for $450.00. Babe was a steal at the price. Gipper needs some work; heading to the luthier for a setup next week, so I'll have well over $400.00 in it before it is where I want it to be. Is yours a True American series?

I'm not real sure that it does, and I'm not sure of the differences between the TA and standard models, but I sure like the TA headstock... Does anyone know if thee's more to it than the truss rod cover?
