Useful Polish ???

Does anyone have any experience using Scott's Liquid Gold.... http://www.scottsliquidgold.com/scotts- ... ducts.html

....on a Nitro finish?

I'm wondering, since there is no silicone or wax, if it might be a useful product.

No... but I use it on my hardwood floor a couple times a year. Its pretty oily... I wouldn't want it on my guitar. I think it's good for for unfinished (meaning oiled, but no lacquer/no pulyurethane) woods, as it is supposed to soak into the pores. May also have citrus oil in it (I can't remember), which is (as I understand it) a no-no for NC.

I don't know about Scots, but the Polish are good for Czeching.

Try "Vitruoso Premium Cleaner" and polish products. They are the best for cleaning and polishing any nitro guitar.

Thanks. All I know about Les Pauls came from the guy in the room next door in college who had a late 60's or early 70's gold top and was always apologizing because it wasn't from the '50's.
