Two weeks ago I received a '73 F-30R, and after some setup work, it's just a lovely little guitar. Ebony fingerboard & bridge, black pickguard, marquetry striping on the back & endpin joint, chesterfield logo, and original hardshell case. As these seem to be rather rare, it's my first encounter with one, and it's a real pleasure to play.
On the heels of the above, today the brown truck brought a '92 D-6nt-hg (high gloss finish). This one is in mint condition with no signs of use. In the stock Guild hardshell case was a small Mel Bay "Learn the Guitar" booklet, so I'm guessing the owner gave up & simply put it away.
New Year's Eve is upon us, and what a fun way to end the year!
