well it's an MIC Guild 12 string, with a broken headstock put back together with nuts and bolts.
kind of at a loss for words at this point....
it's an intriguing repair job.
i wonder how that impacts intonation and longevity.

Not at all... Intonation is between nut and saddle. Intonation is how in-tune a guitar is along the entire fretboard length. That should be not impacted by a broken headstock.

If you change strings on this guitar, you could really get into the nuts and bolts of intonation...

It never ceases to amaze me the evil things people do to their guitars. And then try to sell them!
At this point it’s best to take your expectations, put them as low as possible where you can either be unphased or pleasantly surprised.
