Cool little interview - he shows an interesting finger dexterity trick, but when he talks about practicing alone, never in front of anyone, he made me laugh out loud. "Repetition is how you get better, but don't do it in front of anyone, it will drive them crazy and they will assassinate you"...

He deliberately scuffs up the finish behind the bridge. For at least one of his songs, he'll brush his fingers back & forth on that area, to get a sound resembling a rattlesnake's rattle.
