In the spirit of the internet connected coke machine (and remember I did graduate from CMU) @GAD is considering spending some of the Supporting Member contributions to add wifi to one of these, ask me to wear it and display the results on LTG.

I was kinda hoping another field of study would be opened for people wishing to become fronobulaxologists. Kinda like a meteorologist but trained in making frono predictions.

Man, the coke machine takes me back, but that was in the days of SNMP polling being state of the art. Today I could whip up an Arduino solution that sends real-time telemetry to a widget right here on LTG. Of course, I could also simulate that and just have a simple psuedo-random "Is Frono in a mood: yes/no" display and no one (other than Frono) would be the wiser.

Remember when the V-Bulletin systems had a little LED-looking indicator to show if a member was online? We could just add a similar indicator: Should Frono be trifled with today? [(o)]
