Am I crazy or did this originally start out at a $2500 (non BIN) minimum bid auction to now having a $1650 BIN? This is the third listing, I believe.... :roll:
At least now it's looking like a reasonable deal assuming it's as clean as it looks, but I always get a little nervous when I see sellers playing around with their sales prices like this.

I emailed this guy last week about this D65S. I thought the price was a bit high (what do I know) D-55's go for over $2400 so a D65 should go for ?????. The seller replied he wanted to let it run it's course. It did, and now it re-listed from $2400 down to $1500 opening bid or $1650 Buy-it-Now ? Is this a good deal ? Price seems low ?
I'd like it better with a matching maple neck like Betts F65CE. Will put it on the watch list.

Where I live (SF Bay Area), nice D-55's can be had for $1600, sometimes less.
I think this D-65 (the first I've ever seen) looks really cool!
