That's pretty sweet! If my daughter played guitar instead of the tenor sax, I'd think about having the guy make one for her considering, I have a garage full of no longer useable wood goalie sticks. Goalies were the last to go with the composite sticks and many still use the wood because of the better feel. Hmmm...kinda like guitars....
Could even laminate a couple sections of the paddle portion of the goalie sticks for a headstock.

Keep those and perhaps they can be made into something. I think it would be cool, although I'd opt for more of an S-100 shaped doublecutaway.
