You guys are losing me. Can I get an explanation for post #11,787 to 11,788?

And also, 4 posts in a row that I don't follow the "match" - posts #11,790 to 11,791 to 11,792 to 11,793.

Am I missing something or did the rules change?

For the Love of Money (11787) and Money (11788). So... money.

Jerry GASkill (11790) and VollGAS (11791) and Classical GAS (11792). So... gas.

Synergy (11792) is just a pen name for the musician Larry Fast. So, Fast Car (11793) relates to Larry Fast.

At least that's how I see it.

That's correct.

I've been waiting for my chance to post that Vollgas Ahoi video for weeks, and when I saw the letters GAS, I seized the opportunity.

Fast Cars was indeed chosen because Larry Fast records under the name Synergy, and also because cars run on gas.

However, I don't see the connection between 11786 ("Danny's Song" - Loggins and Messina) and 11787 ("For the Love of Money" - O'Jays). Walrus, did you mean those two and maybe just got the numbers wrong?

The very well known chorus of the song (and often thought of as the title) is

Even though we ain't got money
I'm so in love with you honey

Yeah, that's a stretch...
Really not much of one for a song that made the top of the charts. As opposed to Larry Fast = Synergy, which I only knew from reading PAIA catalogs as a kid.

Well, if I'm deconstructing pseudonyms for mine, I have no right to complain about yours. Thanks for explaining. :)

"Laughing" - R.E.M.

Once again GG and I stepped on each other, but in this case there's no conflict.
