In the 1990s/2000s I was living very close to the Westerly factory. I was buying and selling Guilds as a hobby. I 'd watch Ebay and Craigslist every day. One day there was a Brian May.....THE BM! The prototype from the original designer. There were pictures of Brian Mays inspecting the same guitar being sold, which were to be included with the sale. I seem to remember it was going for around 1500.00. For some reason I didn't buy it. I have thought about it over the years!
