" The meaning of life "

Why are we here?
It is so much fun to relate and react with kindred spirits.
Instruments,music,variety,comraderie,sympatico...

Why are we here?
Is there a higher purpose?
We have one life to leave something of importance for generations to come.
What will it be?

Will it be a little instumental piece,a lyrical song verse,
a heartfelt emotional comment...

Is there an innate desire bound up in each one of us,to leave something special and lasting behind,long after we have departed?

During my brief interaction here at "Let's Talk Guild", I have experienced contact with musicians and music apprecianados which I may never have experienced any where else. I am honored and blessed.

One last time I ask this eternal question:
Why? What is it any of us hope to achieve?
I hope long after I am gone from this mortal plane,that my children have learned to love music
and perhaps found an instrument in their hands with the desire to pluck out a melody.
A melody which will at the very least,be pleasing to their soul.

To insufficiently attempt to answer your question... the meaning of life for me is to find that smile inside and ride it like surfing a wave. That smile comes from one place and for me it comes from being smiled upon. For me that smile comes from God. From there I share. That is the simplest way I can put it.
