I proudly present my latest acquisiton:

It's a self made Jazzmaster body (ash), professionally lacquered, with Fender lace pickups and a 5-way toggle switch, and a Squier short scale neck.

It is very unique, and fun to play - even if a bit too small for my hands. But: it suits my eight years old son perfectly, and my six years old daughter will be able to play it soon.

I purchased a used Roland Cube X -30 amplifier, and it is now in our music room at our kid's disposal.

Here's my little girl shredding 😅

Looking forward to enjoyable hours of making music together.

Way to go ruedi! Get them started early.

When did your son start to play guitar? I remember this beautiful photo of him by the lake with your (now his) guitar you posted some time ago.

He started playing when he was 14; he posed with the DV52 when he was 17, for his high school senior photos. I gave him the guitar when he graduated from college 4 years later.
