I was wondering what the parents to be, who died, would have wanted to say to their unborn children, had they been given the chance.....this is what followed.............Steffan
At that time the tears still flowed, I I think most of us were still trying to put ourselves back together, finding ways to heal....this I supposed helped me a bit...I've never shared it before but I do think its worth sharing...and yes the tears were flowing at the time of its writing..........

I wanted to write a song, wanted to call it "The day the Angels cried" What I wrote was kind of a message from what maybe a father would have liked to say to his not yet born child. Here it is...

To the children, whose daddy died...The day the Angels cried...

If we didn't have eternity. . . . we'd have no time at all. You were born in an embrace that I wish I could share.

No one could be more special, no one could ever replace the life that you embrace,
a love made real by your being you.

The Angels made a gift to the world in the life that was given...and taken, to heart, mind and soul...
and you survived it all, my very precious one.

The tears are still running down my face,as once I looked so forward to an embrace, of mother and child.

Once is never enough...If I could reach out to you. . . just once. . . . all treasures would pale in comparison,
but the crystalized pain pierces the silence....and yet.. there is always a symphony of love,
less than a thought away.

And you have been embraced by the world of sharing. . . . caring Children of Children,
Mothers of Mothers.... Brothers of Brothers....Fathers of Fathers...and everything in between.

Where we live in our hearts, are our treasures, and you are first in my heart. . . . . . . . . . .
