Apropos of absolutely nothing ....

"Khao phat (pronounced COW-pat), is a classic dish in Thai cuisine whose name literally translates to ‘stir-fried rice’."

I need to eat Thai food at least once a week. Gotta have my Tom Kha Kai soup, spice level 8/10 and fried rice. Also love Gang Gai.

Canard, stop showing off your Thai language skills.
LOL. None to show off. It is a fiendishly difficult language.

Thai culinary skills I can fake a bit.

Not fond of cowpat, though.

We used to step in cowpats out in the pasture; pretty unpleasant with bare feet.

We used to use the dried ones as frisbees decades before any of us heard of frisbees . . .

I don't care for Thai food. Decades ago, however, I was pretty fond of Thai weed...
