Looks reasonable to me, but I must admit I haven't kept a close eye on the prices of the DVs. I wonder if the introduction of the Ensenada-produced DVs has had any effect on the used prices...

First blush, I don't love the grain in that Sitka top, but that's very picky of me and I'll bet it sings beautifully.

My .02 isn't worth all that much, but the pics look like stock pics to me, not the actual git. I could be way wrong, though. That just always makes me a little hesitant.

I don't believe those are stock Guild photos. The twine/cord/rope around the tuners looks to me like a roll-your-own photo shoot. I believe the DV-6 was only made for two years at Tacoma. The were introduced in 2007 and in 2008 production ceased for the move. This is not to be confused with the DV series built in Westerly. That was a completely different git.

I think that $725 is probably a fair price. I would verify the serial number with the seller.

I bought one of these brand new in May of '08. I think there are others herabouts that have them, as well.

I paid about $850 new for mine last year which was apparently right before they moved out of Tacoma. I think the price is a wee bit on the high side, but not too bad.

I haven't seen a many of these at all yet for sale as "used", but it seems maybe a little on the high side to me too especially in this market. Still, $725 for it if there's zero issues... that's a lot of guitar for that kind of $. I don't think that's a stock photo, could be wrong, but there seems to be a possible/minor flaw in the spruce top finish in the lower bout (above the soundhole... sort of between the soundhole and bridge).

Not the nicest grain pattern. I guess you could put a scratchplate over the upper bout imperfection? So what is it about £300 dollars cheaper than a new one, but I guess you wouldn't have a warranty? It's a tricky one as they are fantastic guitars. I suppose it depends on whether the flaws in the spruce top are going to bother you in the long term.
