Anybody know the screw size for the battery cover? I tried the stock pickguard screw like Fender uses, but they are too long as are some that a local indie owner gave me to try.

A great place to check out for guitar hardware is Stewart-MacDonald. I think they are at www.stew-mac.com

What color is your T-250? Pointy or traditional headstock? Passive or active pickups?

Mine is red with white pickguard, traditional headstock and Dimarzio passive pickups.

Good luck,

Just getting around to answering this, not sure why, I read it when it was new. I've used Stew-Mac for supplies for years, even had some pickguard screws that were the right diameter but too long, so I'm just going with the velcro for now. Did drill out one of the holes, then tightened the screw too much and cracked the battery cover a little-oh well, it's not really in collectible shape anyhow.
It's blue with a white pickguard, and it's not that extreme "cake server" head stock I've seen in pictures, so I guess it's traditional. The bridge pickup is EMG, so that's active I suppose, the neck pup looks like a single coil but is also marked EMG so that is also. I'm really new to electric guitars, at least solid body. I've had archtops off and on pretty much since 1975, but only had a solid body for a little while in the 70s-a Telecaster when I was in a country band. It had a humbucker in the neck pup and was pretty versatile. I traded it in on a Guild D-50 when I left the band. Wish I had kept it, but there was problem with a couple braces I didn't want to hassle with so that went for an Ibanez ES-175 copy when I needed a jazz type guitar for a play gig.
I see on the EMG website that there are several different models, so I have no idea what the models are in the T-250. I really haven't played it as much as I'd like, just not enough time, and the few times lately when I needed an electric, the situation was really more suited for the X-170 or AA.
