Sweet Antique Burst D-55 vid

i just ran across this youtube vid.

the opening shots looked like an advertisement for the guitar itself, much to my delight! :mrgreen:

an occasional fan of the goo goo dolls, and a guild addict(still yearning for the day to get one) this one looked really good. i dont care too much for that sticker on the top though, and i like his tone, very good strumming tone, not too boomy.

I prefer the coloration of My own D55, but it sure does sound good.

I don't think that's a sticker so much as what Reznick likes to do is put double sided tape there to hold additional picks.

Sadly I don't think he performs with Guild anymore either.

i think you're right. he has the exact same thing on his other d-55, a natural finish. but i think thats a bad way to hold picks. :shock:

i think he plays/endorses taylors now. wonder what made him change sides.

btw, what do you think about the tone? most of their songs are on some tuning nobody else has tried before. i break some strings just tuning to Iris. :lol:

I've always like the Goo Goo Dolls sound, sets them apart. As for the tunings, I need to get a few more guitars first. :shock:

I too, like the brown burst of my two guitars better than that one but I do like the inlay around the sound hole very much. Still very nice though.
