Interesting one, with the old Jet Star headstock and a seemingly ridiculously low price point.
Yep... No longer at CMG sadly.Brian???
No, they are from PT Cort in Surabaya. Samick makes the SF1's.Thanks. So, Samick then. My NS SF-I SC is made there and the quality is good for the price, IMHO.
Hey all,I'm new here.I have a couple of Guilds, and I just bought a Blue Surfliner.I think it's really a cool take on offsets. And I don't need any more Bigsbys.I love the hardtail and everything. But,is this forum always so down on things like on this post?If so,I'm in the wrong place. Please say no.
Three alide switches work better IMO than these rockers do, but not by much. I’ll cover more in the review.Personally, I think the 3 rockers are genius, for obvious reasons.
I'm recently playing a guitar that has individual on/off for each pickup of the three p'ups and I love it. Endless mix/match and blend possibilities.
Ted,
Welcome!
Try not to be put off. We all love Guilds and realize that the more diverse the offerings, at all price points, the more the Guild name will get spread. Many of us are lovers of past models, so bear with us as we come to grips with the new offerings. Yes, we may grumble every now and then, but it’s an affectionate grumble. BECAUSE we love Guilds, we want them to be as good as they can be.
