Actually, they intimidate me a bit just because they are so big and powerful. Plus, I got thrown off one when I was a boy (long time ago) so I have a healthy respect for them.

Yeah, I know, MIC. But, these dats I'm looking for different when I'm guitar shopping and I think this qualifies. Sounds interesting so I did it. It's a pre order since they are apparently not available right now but I'm in no real hurry.

okay, your turn now. Let the critics chime in!!!!

The guitar is pretty if nothing else. I like horses, too, but only because my wife has a horse in return for me having guitars. :)

I can relate Richard. I spent 26 years working alongside the greatest thoroughbreds in racing at Belmont Park, and while the poverty sucked, the lifestyle sure didn't. To me, there is no creature more magnificent than a well turned out thoroughbred.

Never had the urge to ride one though!

Several of my avatars show how I feel about horses. I love them!! Silhouette rearing horses on guitars no so much. This is more artwork than musical instrument to me. But then, why I say "to me" is because you vote with your dollars. And you're not buying it for me, you're buying it for you. So my opinion, in that case, carries very little weight. But you asked, so I'm saying. Love horses, that guitar not so much.

Sandy, I'm starting to get serious about my diet because I need to lose quite a few pounds for my health, and with the goal of mounting up again before I'm outta here!! (y)🐎🏇

I like them but have very little experience with them. Mostly bad ones, like a horse trying to rub me off his back against a tree.
took my 16 year old riding in april for her birthday, up on foothills and desert trails.
it was really boring but i think my wife and kid enjoyed it.

i have a cousin who was an equestrian and did shows when she was younger. now she runs her own riding/boarding stable in upstate NY.
she done it her whole life. pretty cool.

Zero worries Tom. I've never been accused have having "good taste" and a lot of what appeals to me doesn't for many. Such is life.

I wonder how the top is constructed. Is it a laminate where only the outer sheet is assembled by all the different woods and materials? I can't imagine it to be solid pieces glued together.

Tom, I've been doing the same since mid-January, when I quit all alcohol, and started counting calories. I've lost 35 pounds since then, and feel fantastic. So good in fact, that I might just quit drinking permanently. If I want to stay at this weight, I can either eat, or drink, and I think I'd rather eat!

I would assume the same.

There goes LMG-NJ :)

Maybe the silver lining is you can bring all of the bottles you won't be finishing.

It's been about 18 months for me with no alcohol and trying to lose weight. I've dropped about 20 pounds now. I can't really say I feel any better and miss it a lot but I do know I haven't needed a Tums or Rolaid since I quit + the added benefit of saving substantial cash. Plus, hopefully it will be better on my aching knees and hips and will also get my sugar levels to a better place. We'll see. In any event, I'm pretty sure my whiskey, beer and wine days are behind me now.

Well, I think you'll never know until you try it.. It may surprise me. I'll be participating in several outdoor music events this summer and fall and hate taking my better guitars out. So, I bought a MIC Breedlove equivalent of the M 20 and this Luna to plug in and play. The Breedlove actually sounds great unplugged and also plugged in. No idea yet on the Luna but I'll be willing to bet that plugged in it will be pretty good. We'll see I guess.

Horses! I'm with Tom and Sandy - love 'em!

Congratulations on your Stallion guitar. I have had the Luna Vista Mustang for years. It was one of my early guitar purchases, after a Luna Moth. I liked the Moth so when I saw the Mustang I ordered one. The Moth has maple back and sides, the Mustang has rosewood. They have very different sounds and I like them both. Nut widths are a bit on the narrow side but when I play one after playing a wider nut it takes only a few minutes to get used to the difference.

I have not played them plugged in so can't offer anything there.

I saw the Stallion guitar just a few weeks ago and actually considered it, but decided the Mustang is enough. I hope you like yours. Looking forward to your report. When will you get it?
