Youth is wasted on the young!! In your youth? How youthful were you? ha ha

I graduated (barely) HS in 78. I think I heard that when I was in junior high in 72 or 73 74 maybe?

I graduated in 79' from HS. I started playing Guitar in 6th grade 72' when trumpet just wasn't as cool anymore 8) ... at least to me.
Started really tuning into guitar and the music pretty heavily - singer songwriter era - so many great songs from back then.
Anyway it's nice to go back every once and while with a song.

When I first got my Guild I was pulling stuff out of my past I hadn't played since I was in a band in Junior High ...Roundabout, From the Beginning, Over the Hills and Far Away, If I Fell, well, you get the picture .... Cool how something like a brand new guitar can resurface old songs you used to play.

What a talent:

Check out the post below that clip:
"It's not fair... people in the 60's had artists like Janis Ian and Joni Mitchell while we have Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. How things have changed"

I got nothing against any of the new young artists but I have to agree with that statement as far as my taste are concerned.

F30 Loved it thanks. Brought back a lot of memories. She has not lost her voice. What kind of guitar is that she is playin?

Understatement of the year. Although I think every thing is relevant. When I was growing up my Dad hated every thing I listened to. Now I hate all the new stuff but i think we become jaded in our "old age". There are a lot of talented people to come along in the last 20 years. I can only name two (COwboy Junkies and Beck) but I'm sure there are more. Lets hope so for music's sake.
Party on......

I'd rather listen to Smiley Virus than Bustin' Jeebers.

"Remember when" I always seem to have images from the past when I hear an ol' song.
