Elderly says National Reso-phonic uses these, so I couldn't go wrong with them. In fact, I like all Pearse strings I've ever played.

That really does look like Cooder. I'll bet if you wrote to him and asked, he'd answer. A friend of mine here sold an amp to him and says Cooder is very down-to-earth--no star ego.

Who is the old blind guy? I know I've heard him, but the gremlins of senility are blocking my memory of his name.

There is a CD of Bukka and Howlin', which might be from these sessions. It's mostly the Big Bad Wolf at the top of his game.
